18th century dresser inlaid
Art. 10-1575
Length: 144 cm
Depth: 56 cm
Height: 107 cm
Made at the end of the 18th century, with beautiful proportions, according to the most classical motifs of the Venetian repertoire of the Louis XVI period, this dresser reflects the sober and refined taste of that period.
The top is of modest thickness profiled by an owl’s beak frame.
The three drawers are decorated with inlays set into the solid wood, while the lower band is shaped and fits into the tapered supports that are separated from the body of the dresser by a marked bottleneck.
The structure of this piece is solid Italian walnut, and the restoration was impeccably executed to return it to its full glory.
