Antique chest made presumably at the end of the 17th century and from northern Italy.
The craftsman used only Italian walnut wood to make the chest.
The structure is simple and sober, but it is embellished with engraved decorations alternating with smooth tiles.
The four feet that support the body of the cabinet were made during the restoration phase by paying attention to respecting the stylistic canons of the period.
The restorer has, in addition, tessellated the keyhole with a cherry wood inlay in the shape of a four-leaf clover.
The chest is a valuable and unique piece of furniture that has spanned the centuries and has retained its beauty and charm.
