Refined and elegant mid-19th century office desk made of solid wood veneered with walnut burial briar.
The desk seems to be a special artifact in that the flap has no handle to open.
There are three drawers at the top and in the middle is the lever for opening the desk flap. Inside, the room is divided into small drawers and the top is covered in leather.
Under the flap are five drawers with modest dimensions.
The four legs on which the desk rests are turned.
The shellac, brushed with a brush and then softened with wax, highlights the bottom of the bruyeres.
