Trumeau showcase

This elegant secretaire is of modest dimensions and features a bookshelf and a drop-leaf desk; it was created with veneered panels and solid tulip wood.

The base consists of two smaller upper drawers and three bigger drawers stacked vertically.

The bookshelf contains a drop leaf with three small open compartments inside.

The upper part features an oval glass in the only door of the secretaire.

Inside there are two glass shelves that can be either removed or adjusted as needed.

The finish, which is both simple and delicate, respects the traditional technique of Tuscan painting where multiple coats of color were layered and then carefully sanded and scraped, resulting in an antique effect.

The decorations were all created by hand by our master artist.
